Apatinib is a drug used for targeted therapy of advanced gastric cancer, which belongs to multi-targeted drugs. The current commonly used dose of 0.25g of 1 tablet, the price of 1 box of 10 tablets is 1360 RMB. The daily oral dose can start from 2 tablets; if tolerated, it can be increased to 3 tablets; if not tolerated, it can be reduced to 1 tablet. This is the only oral agent among the targeted drugs for advanced gastric cancer, and it is also an oral drug proven to be safe and effective after the failure of standard chemotherapy for advanced gastric cancer. It can significantly prolong the survival of patients with advanced gastric cancer by inhibiting the generation of new blood vessels in tumor tissues. In addition to the commonly used 0.25g dose, there are two other doses of 0.375g and 0.425g that cost a bit more.
