Symptoms include fever and lethargy, chest tightness and abdominal distension, sore limbs and throat, yellowing of body and eyes, swollen cheeks and thirst. 2. Dar Yuan Drink: It is composed of betel nut, Hou Pu, grass nut, Zhi Mu, peony, scutellaria, licorice, etc. It has the efficacy of eliminating filth and removing turbidity, and opening up the membranous origin, and it can be used for the treatment of plague or malaria, with the evidence of evil ambush in the membranous origin. It is characterized by abhorrence of cold and strong heat, or three times a day, or once a day, with indefinite onset, chest tightness and vomiting, headache and irritability, number of pulses, deep red on the sides of the tongue, scaly and greasy tongue moss, or white and thick moss like accumulated powder. 3. San Ren Tang: It is composed of almonds, slippery stone, Tong Cao, cardamom kernel, bamboo leaves, thick park, Job’s tears, half-summer, etc. It has the effect of clearing away heat and eliminating dampness (removing heat and dampness in the body), and clearing and relaxing the qi, and it can be used for the treatment of dampness and warmth at the beginning of dampness and summer warmth and dampness, and dampness is heavier than heat. It should not be used if the tongue is yellow and greasy and heat is more important than dampness. The adverse effects of the above formula have not been clarified, and it is contraindicated for allergic patients.
