Location of the perineum point

There are some differences in the location of the Huiyin acupoint between men and women, with men at the midpoint of the line between the root of the scrotum and the anus, and women at the midpoint of the line between the posterior union of the labia majora and the anus. The perineum point is one of the more commonly used points in Chinese medicine, and is taken from the patient’s chest and knees or lying on the side, in the middle of the two anterior and posterior yin. The male Huixin point is located in the root of the scrotum and the anus line of the center point, while the female Huixin point is in the labia majora after the joint and the anus line of the center point of the main. The Huixin points are mainly used for treating yin itching, dysuria (uncontrolled urination), hemorrhoidal diseases, spermatorrhea, enuresis, irregular menstruation, and epilepsy. For general acupuncture treatment, only 0.5-1 inch of straight stabbing is needed, or moxibustion can also be performed. Acupuncture or moxibustion at the perineum point should be performed by a medical professional, not by yourself. If there is any discomfort, please consult a doctor promptly.
