You can determine whether there is gastric bleeding through the patient’s clinical symptoms and laboratory tests.
1. Clinical symptoms: In patients with gastric bleeding, if the bleeding is small, the blood may be oxidized in the intestines and excreted with the stool, resulting in black, tarry stools. If the amount of bleeding is large, it will cause irritation to the stomach, causing obvious vomiting, spitting out coffee-colored substances or vomiting blood.
2. Laboratory examination: you can go to the gastroenterology department of the hospital for examination, such as gastroscopy, you can find that the gastric mucosa appears diffuse erosion foci, with many black crusts on the surface, indicating the existence of gastric bleeding. Patients with serious symptoms may have ulcers on the surface of the gastric mucosa, combined with bleeding and so on.
When the amount of gastric bleeding is large, the patient may have symptoms such as black eyes, panic, white face and lips, nails without blood, and body weakness. It is recommended to go to the hospital immediately when the above symptoms appear, so as not to delay the condition and jeopardize the life.
