Ume belongs to a kind of Chinese herbal medicine, with astringent antidiarrheal (by enhancing the function of intestinal astringency to alleviate diarrhea), the production of fluids, astringent lung (astringent lung qi) and other effects. But umeboshi drink water, its active ingredients are limited, can not achieve the therapeutic effect.
