Subplasmaline fibroids that are less than 5 cm in diameter and clinically asymptomatic can be treated conservatively, for example, by ultrasound every six months, mainly to understand the growth rate of the fibroids, whether they have degenerated, or whether they have the possibility of malignancy. If these conditions are not present, observation can be continued. If the diameter is greater than 5cm, it is recommended to give surgical treatment. If there is still a requirement for fertility, it is recommended to simply do myoma removal surgery. If the patient is already close to menopause and the cervical screening is fine, a subtotal hysterectomy can be performed or another surgery can be given according to the patient’s needs. However, if there are lesions in the cervix, a total hysterectomy is required.
