What is SAS?

SAS stands for Self-Assessment Scale of Anxiety. This scale has 20 entries, each of which is rated on four levels depending on the frequency of symptoms. For Chinese people, the normal upper limit is 40 points, and the standard total score is 50 points. In particular, we need to tell you that in some clinical cases we have contacted, they often diagnose or identify themselves as having depression by using this scale on the computer, which is not scientific. This is not scientific because, first of all, this scale is not a diagnostic scale, and secondly, even if it is a diagnostic scale, it needs to be evaluated by a trained professional to be valid. Therefore, if you suspect that you have an anxiety disorder, please go to a professional institution to receive professional assessment.
