Fire is an old people’s term, mainly manifested as sore throat, mouth and tongue sores, constipation and other symptoms of fire and heat, if you take Atractylodes macrocephala Atractylodes Poria Chen Pi in an inappropriate way, or not symptomatic, it is possible to cause the symptoms of fire and heat. Atractylodes macrocephala is pungent, bitter and warm in nature, with the effects of drying dampness and strengthening the spleen, dispelling wind and dispersing cold (dispelling wind and dispersing cold), and brightening the eyes, and it is suitable for the symptoms of dampness obstruction in the middle jiao (dampness obstructing the function of the spleen and the stomach), rheumatism paralysis, and dimness of the eyes. Atractylodes macrocephala is bitter, sweet and warm in nature, with the effects of strengthening the spleen and benefiting the vital energy, drying dampness and inducing diuresis (drying dampness and reducing water-dampness in the body), stopping sweating and stabilizing the fetus, relieving symptoms such as deficiency of the spleen with low food intake, bloating and diarrhea, phlegm-beverage, vertigo and palpitations (vertigo and palpitations due to phlegm-beverage and evil qi upward) and edema. Poria is sweet and light in flavor, and flat in nature, which can diuretic and seepage dampness (promote the flow of water to dispel dampness), strengthen the spleen, and tranquilize the heart, and can be used for symptoms such as edema, phlegm-drinking and vertigo palpitation, and deficiency of the spleen with low food intake. Chenpi is bitter, pungent and warm in nature, and has the effects of regulating qi and strengthening the spleen (regulating qi and strengthening the spleen), drying dampness and resolving phlegm (removing phlegm from the body by drying dampness), which can improve symptoms such as distension and fullness in the epigastrium (abdomen), poor appetite and vomiting and diarrhea, and coughing with profuse phlegm. The combination of the four herbs can strengthen the spleen and dispel dampness (by tonifying the spleen to expel dampness), but since Cangzhu, Baijiao and Chenpi in the above four herbs are warm and hot in nature, there is a possibility of fire-heat symptoms if one has a hot constitution or if one takes too much of the herbs.
