Alzheimer’s disease is categorized as familial or sporadic, and familial Alzheimer’s disease is caused by autosomal dominant inheritance, and there is no cure for either familial or sporadic Alzheimer’s disease.
Although Alzheimer’s disease cannot be cured, it can be treated aggressively to control the progression of the disease, improve the quality of life and prolong life. If diagnosed, it should be treated aggressively and managed well in daily life.
