Rheumatoid arthritis is a systemic autoimmune disease with chronic arthritic lesions as the main manifestation. The onset of rheumatoid arthritis is usually insidious, and the disease process is slow and not easily noticed at the beginning. In addition to small joint swelling and pain, there are often symptoms such as weakness, poor appetite, low fever, general malaise, numbness in the hands and feet, and weight loss. The main features are polyarticular lesions with inflammation, swelling and dysfunction of small joints. The joint lesions are mostly symmetrical and often lead to joint destruction, deformity and eventually different degrees of dysfunction, mainly invading the synovial membrane, followed by the plasma membrane, heart, lungs, arteries, nerves, eyes and other connective tissues. Rheumatoid arthritis is divided into three types, and the performance of different types varies: 1. insidious type: 60-70% of the total number of patients with rheumatoid arthritis. The disease starts slowly, often within a few weeks or months, and is characterized by pain, swelling and stiffness of the metacarpophalangeal and wrist joints, which may be accompanied by general malaise and weakness, low fever, loss of appetite and weight loss. 2.Acute type: 8-15% of the total number of patients, the patient can clearly point out the specific date of symptoms or within a few days, manifested as symmetrical multi-joint swelling, pain, restricted movement, fever, lymph node enlargement, etc., the condition is often heavy. 3, intermediate type: 15-20% of the total number of patients with rheumatoid arthritis, symptoms often appear within a few days or weeks, between the insidious type and the acute type, peripheral symptoms than the insidious type of patients. Some rheumatoid arthritis symptoms are atypical and should never be ignored.
