A part of rectal cancer can be cured, whether it can be cured or not is mainly related to the early detection of the disease, that is, the severity of the disease, the earlier the tumor is detected, the higher the possibility of cure after regular treatment. Can rectal cancer be completely cured? Some of the colon cancer patients can be cured, and whether it can be cured or not is mainly related to the early detection of the disease, that is, the severity of the disease, so the earlier the stage of the tumor, the more likely it can be cured after the regular treatment. In addition, the treatment concept has been revolutionized. In the past, the traditional view was that it was impossible to achieve a cure, that is, advanced liver metastasis and lung metastasis, but now this concept is no longer correct. I would also like to emphasize that the model of tumor treatment has changed to a multidisciplinary expert discussion model, that is, MDT, so the MDT team for colorectal cancer should include surgeons, physicians, radiologists, imaging doctors, and pathologists, all together to discuss the best treatment plan for the patient. It has been shown that this multidisciplinary treatment model can improve the cure rate of rectal cancer.
