Interventional radiology is guided by imaging medicine (X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI), through a percutaneous puncture route or through the body’s original orifice, inserting a specially designed catheter or instrument into the lesion for diagnostic imaging and treatment; or tissue collection for cytology bacteriology and biochemical examination. Interventional radiology features: using the body’s original orifice or an incision only as large as a grain of rice, which is less invasive, more effective and less painful. It can preserve the uterus and fallopian tubes, ovaries, etc. The gynecological interventions that can be performed in our interventional department include: uterine fibroids, adenomyosis, tubal incompetence, bleeding, cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, ectopic pregnancy (tubal pregnancy, cervical pregnancy), ovarian cysts, etc.
