Itchy peeling on the bottom of the feet may be a result of a fungal infection in the feet that eventually forms tinea pedis, which is mainly a keratotic ringworm. Topical ointments can be chosen from antifungal creams, such as topical special nafen cream, topical miconazole nitrate cream, or if itching is obvious, topical tannin cream, along with oral antihistamines to stop the itching, such as the oral generation of antihistamines paracetamol, or cyproheptadine. The itchy peeling of the area may also be localized eczema, especially keratotic eczema, which may also lead to localized keratinization with flaking. This is the time to apply topical Parezon cream, or trimethoprim cream, and can be combined with oral antihistamines to stop the itching.
