What to do when a cavity has rotted and hollowed out and a polyp has grown?

Cavities have rotted hollow inside the polyps, may be caused by gum polyps, pulp polyps and other diseases, generally can be relieved by surgery or root canal treatment.
1. Gingival polyps: when the caries cavity is large, due to stimulation, the gingival papilla abnormal proliferation formed by the granulation-like hyperplasia. Gingival polyps are asymptomatic in the early stages, and when the polyp increases in size, it can manifest itself as biting pain, bleeding and other symptoms. Gingival polyps can be treated with laser or high-frequency electrosurgical gingival polypectomy, polypectomy requires timely repair of caries.
2. Pulp polyps: pulp polyps are often seen in chronic proliferative pulpitis, pulp exposure, caused by stimulation of the proliferative response. Often manifested as caries cavities filled with red granulation tissue, no pain can be bleeding and other symptoms. Treatment needs to clean out the polyps inside the pulp, and then do root canal treatment, and then carry out porcelain crowns or inlays for restoration after completion.
Tooth decay must be detected and treated early to avoid the formation of more serious oral problems. You should develop good brushing habits and have an oral checkup every six months or so.
