What to do if your sleep heartbeat is below 46

Sleeping heart rate lower than 46 beats / min is common in physiological, bradyarrhythmia, myocardial ischemia, etc. Physiological causes do not need to be dealt with; bradyarrhythmia with dizziness, fatigue and other symptoms, the need to install a pacemaker; myocardial ischemia requires the use of isosorbide mononitrate, fast-acting heart pills, aspirin and other medications, and the serious cases can be considered for surgical treatment.
1. Physiological: some normal people may sleep at night when the heart rate is lower than 46 times / min, but generally in 40 times / min or more, the daytime heart rate are in the 50 ~ 60 times / min or more, or the heart rate with the movement has a corresponding increase, no obvious panic, fatigue and other discomforts, at this time the actual is in a relatively normal range, no need to deal with, do not have to be overly nervous.
2. Slow arrhythmia: such as pathological sinus node syndrome, III degree atrioventricular block, etc., the patient’s heart rate slows down, can be lower than 46 beats / min, if accompanied by dizziness, fatigue, darkness, fainting, etc., need to go to the hospital in time to install a pacemaker.
3. Myocardial ischemia: Insufficient blood supply to the heart causes impaired cardiac function, resulting in bradycardia, the heart rate is lower than 46 beats/minute during sleep, patients may be accompanied by chest tightness, chest pain, fatigue and other symptoms, need to follow the medical advice to use isosorbide mononitrate, fast-acting heart pills, aspirin and other medications, coronary artery stenosis can be considered for interventional surgery.
If the patient sleeps with a heartbeat lower than 46 beats per minute, accompanied by obvious panic, dizziness and other discomforts, it is recommended to go to the hospital in a timely manner to find out the cause and actively treat. Medications should be taken under the guidance of a physician.
