What causes pain during intercourse?

Painful intercourse may be caused by the patient’s vagina being too dry, endometriosis, vaginitis, cervicitis, etc.
1. Vagina is too dry: when a woman experiences vaginal pain during coitus, it may be caused by too little vaginal secretion, resulting in vaginal pain caused by too much dryness.
2. Endometriosis: endometriosis is a series of clinical symptoms caused by active endometrial cells implanted in the ovaries or pelvic cavity, myometrium and other parts of the uterus, and the patient may experience dysmenorrhea, irregular menstruation, painful intercourse, infertility and so on.
3. Vaginitis: vaginitis is mainly due to inflammation caused by the imbalance of vaginal flora due to mixed infections, and the most common symptoms of patients with vaginitis are vaginal itching, burning pain, pain during sexual intercourse, and pain during urination.
4. Cervicitis: mainly an inflammation of the cervix and vagina, after the emergence of cervicitis, the patient’s vaginal discharge will increase, but also accompanied by the phenomenon of painful intercourse.
