Can glucose injections cause elevated blood sugar?

Whether or not glucose injection causes an increase in blood sugar varies from person to person. Normal people will not cause a significant increase in blood glucose after using glucose injection, but if the dose is too large for a short period of time, it may also cause an increase in blood glucose; while diabetic patients will usually cause an increase in blood glucose after injecting glucose. The function of insulin secretion by the pancreas is normal in normal people, and the regulation of glucose metabolism is stable. When a small dose of glucose injection is entered, the human pancreas will secrete more insulin to lower blood glucose, which will not lead to hyperglycemia and will not cause diabetes. However, if too large a dose is input for a short period of time, it may also cause an increase in blood glucose. Due to the decline of pancreatic function in diabetic patients, the human pancreas cannot secrete enough insulin to lower blood glucose or there is insulin resistance, diabetic patients will lead to elevated blood glucose after infusion of glucose injection. When diabetic patients cannot eat normally or hypoglycemia occurs, they may need to be treated with glucose injection, at which time their blood glucose should be monitored regularly. Glucose Injection should be used under medical supervision.
