What is the difference between ginger and dried ginger

Ginger and dry ginger differ in flavor, meridian, efficacy and treatment. Both of them come from the same source, which is a kind of plant, only due to the different methods of use and concoctions that cause the difference in their clinical treatment. 1. Meridian, ginger enters the lung, spleen and stomach meridians, while dried ginger enters the spleen, stomach, kidney, heart and lung meridians. 2. In terms of efficacy, ginger is used for relieving cold (removing cold from the surface of the body), warming the middle part of the body, lowering the rebelliousness and stopping vomiting (stopping the upward flow of gastric qi, stopping vomiting), and resolving phlegm and relieving cough. Dried ginger is more warming in nature, it can warm the middle and disperse cold (dispelling cold by warming the spleen and stomach), restore yang to save the body (rescuing fainting and unconsciousness by warming yang qi), open the veins (dredging the meridians), and warm the lungs and resolve phlegm (warming the lungs to dissolve phlegm and drink). 3. Therapeutically, ginger only treats coldness (fear of cold) and vomiting, and its action is partial to the upper part of the body, acting on the chest organs, such as heart and lungs; whereas the action of dry ginger is partial to the lower part of the body, including the spleen, stomach and kidneys, etc. It can treat cold limbs, weak pulse, and can be used as a treatment for coldness. It can treat cold limbs, weak pulse (weak pulse), cold pain in the stomach and abdomen (cold pain in the stomach and abdomen). Note: Ginger and Dried Ginger are both traditional Chinese medicines and should be used by a professional Chinese medicine practitioner.
