How long does natural childbirth take?

The first stage of labor is generally 6-8 hours for women in labor and 11-12 hours for primiparous women; the second stage of labor is generally 1 hour for women in labor and more than 2 hours for primiparous women; the third stage of labor is the process of delivery of the fetus and placenta, which generally takes no more than 30 minutes for both women in labor and primiparous women.
