Male pelvic floor muscle exercises, known as Kegel exercises, increase blood circulation and muscle flexibility in the pelvic floor muscles and prostate.
The location of the pelvic floor muscles can be found using the urine-holding method. Interrupt urination to experience the location of the muscles used when holding urine and memorize the tightness. It should not be used to exercise the pelvic floor muscles because it can cause abnormalities in the micturition reflex.
The exercise should be performed by rapidly contracting and relaxing the pelvic floor muscles for 10 seconds at a time in 3 consecutive sets, with 10 seconds between each set, once a day. Then tighten and relax the muscles irregularly and repeat for 3 sets.
Finally contract the muscles for as long as possible, keeping it under 2 minutes. If you can control freely, then gradually increase the adherence time and the number of exercises. Be careful not to tighten the abdominal, hip and leg muscles during the exercise.
