Teratoma is a kind of common germ cell tumor, mostly benign, teratoma surgery is usually mainly laparoscopic surgery and open surgery, the specific surgical methods are related to the benign and malignant nature of the tumor. Laparoscopic surgery: most of the benign teratomas are operated by laparoscopic surgery, the patient is anesthetized in the supine position, a curved incision is made at the lower edge of the umbilicus of the patient, an artificial pneumoperitoneum is established, and the trocar and laparoscope are put in. Then an incision was made on the right and left sides of the patient 2 cm above the pubic bone and slightly below the umbilical margin, and the teratoma was exposed after careful observation. Finally, the tumor was excised. The ovarian cortex on the surface of the tumor was first incised, the teratoma capsule wall was slowly separated from the ovary, the teratoma was removed from the incision in the left lower abdomen, and the remaining ovarian tissue was sutured. After surgery, the resected tumor tissue is sent for pathological examination. 2. Open abdominal surgery: malignant teratoma requires open abdominal surgery, the patient is placed in the supine position for anesthesia, a longitudinal incision is made in the lower abdomen, the abdominal cavity is explored after entering into the abdominal cavity, and the abdominal lavage or ascites is aspirated for cytological examination. The scope of the procedure and the steps involved are the same as for laparoscopic surgery. Surgery for teratoma needs to be chosen according to the patient’s specific condition and under the guidance of the doctor. After the surgery, patients should take rest and consult the doctor if they feel unwell.
