What causes back headaches?

Posterior headache may be caused by sleep deprivation, cerebral ischemia and meningitis.
1. Lack of sleep: due to the patient’s long-term lack of sleep, it can lead to vegetative nerve dysfunction and neurasthenia, which will lead to the symptoms of posterior headache.
2. Cerebral hemorrhage: long-term hypertension, arterio-venous vascular malformation and many other factors can cause blood vessel rupture, resulting in cerebral hemorrhage. Patients may have increased intracranial pressure or blood entering the subarachnoid space, which may cause posterior headache, as well as vomiting, limb paralysis, coma and other symptoms.
3. Meningitis: usually due to acute inflammation of the cerebrospinal membrane caused by various pathogenic infections, the inflammatory factor will cause damage to the meninges, resulting in increased intracranial pressure, which will cause compression of the brain and its surrounding tissues, thus leading to the symptoms of posterior headache in patients.
4. Cervical spondylosis: this disease is mostly related to cervical spine degeneration and injury and other factors, resulting in intervertebral disc protrusion, if the pressure or stimulation of the sympathetic nerve fibers in the neck, it can cause head and neck pain, that is, after the headache. Some patients may also be accompanied by dizziness, blurred vision, tinnitus, nausea, chest tightness and other symptoms.
Posterior headache does not exclude that there are other causes, it is recommended that patients with symptoms go to the hospital in a timely manner to follow the doctor’s instructions for examination and treatment.
