  How to use acupuncture therapy to treat stroke?  Acupuncture treatment for stroke includes body acupuncture, scalp acupuncture, ear acupuncture, eye acupuncture, tongue acupuncture, hand acupuncture, acupuncture point injection and moxibustion, etc. There are many acupuncture points, complicated techniques and strong technicality, which must be operated by an acupuncturist. The following mainly introduces five of these methods.  The first method: body acupuncture therapy. It is mainly suitable for the recovery period of stroke. Generally, after local sterilization, use the right hand to hold the needle into the acupuncture point, after using twisting, lifting and inserting techniques to obtain qi, repeatedly re-insert and lightly lift or slowly stab into, less twisting, and quickly out of the needle for the tonic method, repeatedly re-insert and lightly lift or quickly into the needle, more twisting, and slowly out of the needle for the laxative method. For limb paralysis, the acupuncture points of shoulder k, arm, quchi, hand sanli, hegu, shoulder s, tianjing, wai guan, thigh guan, fujia, liangqiu, foot sanli, xiexi, nei ting, ring jump, wind, yanglingquan, hanging bell, qiu xu, chichibian, yinmen, gui zhong, shing shan, sheng yu, etc. are often taken within 3 months of onset, the acupuncture points on the healthy side are mainly taken and the laxative method is used; for 3-6 months, the acupuncture points on the healthy side and the paralyzed side are taken at the same time, but the laxative method is used on the healthy side and the tonic method on the paralyzed side. For 3-6 months, take the acupuncture points on both the healthy side and the paralyzed side, but use the laxative method on the healthy side and the tonic method on the paralyzed side. For post-stroke, the main points are Dicang, Chee Chee, Mute Gate, Hegu, Tongli, Lianquan, Chengjiao, and Fengchi; for post-stroke, the main points are Qujian, Hangli, Jiaojiao, and Rate Valley; for post-stroke, visual impairment and visual field deficit, Head Linobu, Eye Window, and Yu Pillow; for post-stroke, chest, abdomen, waist, and back pain, Zhengying and Chengling; for post-stroke, foot pain, Baihui and Qianjian; for post-stroke, dementia and psychiatric symptoms, take Baihui and Qianjian. For those with dementia and mental symptoms, take Baihui, Qianding, Si Shencong and Shenting; for those with urinary incontinence after stroke, take Baihui through Houding; for those with wrist and finger joint immobility after stroke, take Baihui and bilateral Taichong with laxative method, and take Quchi, Hegu, Waiguan, Zhonggu and Zhongquan with tonic method; for those with ankle and toe joint deformities after stroke, take Shouhai with foot externalization and diarrhea and Shen pulse, and take Shouhai with foot internalization and supplement Shen pulse.  The second method: scalp acupuncture therapy. It is suitable for all stages of stroke. Generally, after local sterilization, use the right hand to hold the needle with the scalp at 15-30 degrees to pierce the acupuncture point, perform the tonic-diarrheal technique after quickly twisting for 2-3 minutes to obtain the qi, then leave the needle for 30-60 minutes and pull out, and press to stop the bleeding. For post-stroke limb paralysis, take the top middle line and the top front temporal oblique line, take the middle 1/3 of the upper limb and the upper 1/3 of the lower limb; for post-stroke limb numbness, take the top middle line and the top back temporal oblique line, take the lower 1/3 of the head and face, take the middle 1/3 of the upper limb and the upper 1/3 of the lower limb; for post-stroke corner of the mouth distortion, take the lower 1/3 of the top front temporal oblique line; for post-stroke unfavorable language, take the frontal middle line, the front temporal line and the lower 1/3 of the top front temporal oblique line; for post-stroke headache, take the frontal middle line, anterior temporal line and posterior temporal line; vertigo after stroke, take the posterior temporal line and inferior parietal occipital line; visual disturbance after stroke, take the superior occipital parietal line; ataxia after stroke, take the inferior occipital parietal line; urinary incontinence after stroke, take the parietal middle line.  The third method: eye needle therapy. It is suitable for all stages of stroke. Generally, after local disinfection, press the eyelid with one hand, hold the needle in the other hand and quickly pierce the eye point for 1 to 2 minutes, without lifting and twisting the needle, and then discharging the needle after obtaining qi and compressing to stop bleeding. For post-stroke hemiplegia, take the upper and lower jiao zones; for post-stroke obliquity of the mouth, take the double upper jiao zone; for post-stroke upper limb inability to lift, take the upper jiao zone; for post-stroke complication of erratic flow, take the middle jiao zone; for stroke complication of urinary incontinence, take the lower jiao zone, liver zone, and kidney zone; for stroke combined with hypertension, take the bilateral liver zone; for stroke combined with coronary heart disease, take the upper jiao zone and heart zone.  The fourth method: acupoint injection therapy. It is suitable for the recovery period of hemiplegia after stroke and the post-stroke period. Generally, after local disinfection, a syringe is used to pierce the acupuncture point, and after lifting and inserting the air, Danshen injection, Xiangdan injection, Chuanxiongzin injection, Angelica injection, Musk injection, Dingongteng injection and vitamin B1 injection and vitamin B12 injection are injected into the acupuncture point, and the amount of medicine injected into each acupuncture point is 0.1 to 1 ml. For post-stroke hemiplegia, points such as Hegu, Quchi, Neiguan, Waiguan, Shoulder k, Foot Sanli, Shang Juxu, Tai Chong, Xiexi, Kunlun, Yanglingquan, and Sanyinjiao are often taken.  The fifth method: moxibustion therapy. It is suitable for all stages of stroke. Generally, moxa cones are placed on the acupuncture points and ignited, or moxa strips are ignited and smoked on the acupuncture points. For those who have Yang Qi deficiency during stroke attack, use moxa cones to moxibustion Guan Yuan and Qi Hai across ginger; for those who recover from hemiplegia caused by ischemic stroke, use moxa cones to moxibustion Baihui, Zheng Ying, Shenting, Qu temples, Cheng Ling, or use moxa cones to moxibustion Guan Yuan, Feng, Shoulder Well, Shoulder K, Qu Chi, Hegu, Interdigit, Di Ji, Blood Sea, Hanging Bell, Foot San Li; for those who have unfavorable language after stroke, moxa moxibustion Tian Wu and Tong Li.
