Mulled glass nodule 6mm is not necessary for surgical treatment, dynamic observation can be, if there is an increase in the size of the need to consider surgery. Ground-glass nodules are cloudy, well-demarcated high-density shadows on chest CT scans, with relatively clear borders, and the density of the lesion does not obscure blood vessels or bronchioles in the lungs. Ground-glass nodules can be categorized into pure ground-glass nodules and mixed density ground-glass nodules. The vast majority of 6mm nodules are benign and do not require surgical resection. If the lesions gradually increase in size or solidity and show signs of malignancy, puncture or biopsy is needed to determine whether the lesions are malignant or not, and surgery is needed if necessary.
