What is the normal value of H. pylori

The normal value of H. pylori is between 0 and 100 bpm. The diagnosis is confirmed when H. pylori testing is performed mainly by means of a carbon 14 breath test. As long as the patient has a value between 0 and 100 bpm, the environment in the stomach is healthy and the condition does not need to be treated. Once the value is greater than 700 bpm, the patient’s infection is more serious and should be treated promptly. Some children or pregnant women opt for a carbon 13 breath test, which has a normal value between 0-4 bpm, because they are concerned that a carbon 14 breath test may cause certain side effects. Once the value of H. pylori test exceeds 4bpm, it indicates that the stomach is infected with H. pylori and needs to be treated promptly.
