If you have blisters on your toes that are accompanied by intense itching, you may have tinea pedis due to a fungal infection. Tinea pedis is mainly due to damp and sweaty foot skin and thus fungal growth. Since tinea pedis is contagious, sometimes wearing slippers in public bathrooms or using communal bath tubs, towels, or footbaths can lead to fungal infections and thus trigger tinea pedis. It is important to keep the skin of the feet clean and hygienic after infection with tinea pedis to avoid dampness and sweating, and you can give topical antifungal medication. If the blisters are not broken you can use a mild, non-irritating bifidazole cream and apply it topically in small amounts once in the morning and once in the evening. If it is accompanied by obvious itchiness must not scratch, timely treatment with topical medication to avoid causing the rash to become infected.
