A small localized bone protruding after a traumatic knee injury may be a fracture caused by the trauma and there is displacement. It may also be a localized soft tissue injury and swelling. You can go to the orthopedic department for an interview and routine X-ray examination of the knee to determine whether there is a fracture, and if necessary, further CT or 3D reconstruction examination. If the fracture is traumatic and not significantly displaced, promptly give a cast fixation and braking. If it is significantly displaced and affects fracture healing and functional recovery, surgical repositioning and internal fixation treatment need to be considered. If the local injury does not last more than 24 hours, ice packs can be applied to reduce swelling and pain, and after 24 hours, blood-activating drugs such as Yunnan Baiyao aerosol can be sprayed to help recovery.
