How to manage slow atrial fibrillation

The management of slow-onset atrial fibrillation is as follows: 1. Quickly identify whether the patient has hemodynamic abnormalities, and if so, immediately install a temporary cardiac pacemaker. If there is no condition, the ventricular rate can be elevated with drugs first, and a temporary cardiac pacemaker can be installed as soon as possible for protection; 2, according to the CHA2DS2-VASc score, if the score is ≥2 for men and ≥3 for women, anticoagulation therapy should be taken; 3, control of the ventricular rate; 4, conversion to sinus rhythm can be considered for patients with conditions; 5, treatment of the primary cause of atrial fibrillation, such as various organic heart diseases or hypo- and hyperthyroidism Treatment of underlying diseases; 6. Non-pharmacological treatment, or permanent pacemaker implantation can be considered in patients with slow-fast syndrome. For patients with fast-slow syndrome, radiofrequency ablation can be considered.
