The patient, a 67-year-old male, was admitted to the hospital with “low back pain for 5 hours”. On admission, he complained of intolerable low back pain, difficulty turning over when lying in bed, and inability to sit up or walk on the ground. Past history: He had a history of “cerebral infarction, hypertension and diabetes” 4 years ago. Orthopedic condition: significant pressure pain and percussion pain next to the spine of lumbar 2 vertebrae. After admission, the patient was given all relevant examinations, and CT and MRI examinations of the lumbar spine were performed. After a comprehensive assessment of the condition by neurology, endocrinology and cardiology, minimally invasive lumbar 2 vertebroplasty surgery was performed, and the operation took 30 minutes.
