What is high urinary microalbumin in women?

Elevated urinary microalbumin in women may be caused by physiological factors, such as doing this test after strenuous exercise or staying up late. If we exclude this reason, we consider that it may be the early manifestation of certain kidney diseases, such as diabetic nephropathy, chronic glomerulonephritis and so on. The presence of urinary microalbumin is generally indicative of the early manifestation of certain kidney diseases, but it is also affected by physiological factors, such as the above mentioned late night, strenuous exercise and so on. If urinary microalbumin is found to be elevated, the influence of the above physiological factors should be ruled out. If physiological factors have been ruled out, and in the course of dynamic review, this index is found to be consistently high, it is considered to be caused by pathological factors. It is more common to be the early manifestation of various renal diseases, such as diabetic nephropathy, chronic glomerulonephritis, hypertensive nephropathy and so on.
