How long does pregnancy nausea and vomiting last?

The nausea and vomiting reactions start to appear around 6 weeks after menopause and disappear on their own around 12 weeks after menopause, so the duration of pregnancy vomiting reactions lasts from one month to one and a half months. Most pregnant women will experience pregnancy vomiting during pregnancy, which is a normal physiological reaction during early pregnancy. When the hormone level in the body gradually stabilizes and the pregnant woman gradually tolerates it, the vomiting reaction will improve naturally. For pregnant women with multiple pregnancies, the probability of severe pregnancy vomiting is relatively high and lasts longer than that of singleton pregnancies, which may last up to two months. If the vomiting becomes more severe and affects eating and resting, or even leads to dehydration and electrolyte disorders, the pregnant woman needs to be hospitalized immediately for rehydration treatment. In addition, nausea and vomiting during pregnancy should be differentiated from thyroid disease and other gastrointestinal disorders, in addition to early pregnancy reactions. During early pregnancy, it is important to eat a light diet, try to avoid contact with some foods that can easily induce vomiting, and eat fewer and more frequent meals.
