How long does it take to get nauseous when you are pregnant

Nausea usually appears around 6 weeks of pregnancy, but due to individual variability, some pregnant women may not experience early pregnancy reactions such as nausea and vomiting until around 8 weeks of pregnancy. The appearance of early pregnancy reactions is considered to be related to the increase in human chorionic gonadotropin (HGC) levels. The secretion of human chorionic gonadotropin starts 10-14 days after conception, and the secretion increases in 6-8 weeks of pregnancy, and early pregnancy reactions appear. In addition, the severity and duration of early pregnancy reaction may also be related to the pregnant woman’s physical condition, mental state and nutritional status. Mild nausea and vomiting have little effect on pregnant women and can usually be relieved by diet and proper rest. Usually no special treatment is needed, and the early pregnancy reaction will disappear on its own around 12 weeks after menopause. If the symptoms of pregnancy vomiting occur, do not be overly nervous, maintain a good mental state, pay attention to rest, and consult a doctor for appropriate antiemetic treatment if the symptoms are severe.
