The patella is a seed bone that is wrapped within the patellar tendon formed by the migration of the quadriceps muscle. There is a bursa in front of the patella called the prepatellar bursa. There are two possibilities for pressure pain at the upper end of the patella: 1, tendon terminal disease formed by the skeletal union of the patellar tendon, which is an aseptic inflammatory disease, mainly due to long-term improper stress, resulting in injury, exudation, congestion, swelling and pain at the skeletal union of the patellar tendon. The treatment can be braking, oral and topical treatment with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, more can be cured. 2, patellar anterior bursitis, patellar anterior bursa is a soft bursa filled with synovial fluid, the role of the patellar anterior bursa is to increase the sliding of the skin in front of the knee joint, reduce the friction between the skin and the patellar tendon. Due to violent impact or long-term chronic improper weight bearing, it can lead to increased synovial fluid in the prepatellar bursa and congestion and edema in the synovial tissue, resulting in sterile inflammation. Acute prepatellar bursitis can be recovered with rest and braking and oral nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Chronic prepatellar bursitis, due to repeated congestion and edema of synovial tissue, synovial tissue hyperplasia, hypertrophy, and chronic bursitis are not easily healed.
