Treatment of sunburned skin redness

Sunburned skin redness, clinically called sunburn, can be relieved through physical therapy, topical medications, oral medications, and enhanced care.
1. Physical therapy: You can use running water to rinse or use a towel to apply cold compresses to make blood vessels contract to relieve symptoms. Avoid going out, keep the room cool, and keep the local skin fresh and clean.
2. Topical medication: If there is obvious itching, you can apply glycerine lotion. For patients with slight blisters and edema, you can use boric acid solution to apply wet compresses, and then apply glucocorticoid creams, such as mometasone furoate cream and hydrocortisone cream.
3. Oral medication: If the lesion area is large or the itching is severe, you can also take oral antihistamine drugs, such as cetirizine, loratadine.
4. Enhanced care: Usually, you can use sunscreen to prevent sunburn, such as zinc oxide, p-aminobenzoic acid. You can also wear sunscreen clothing, wear a sun hat, play umbrellas and so on.
