Spotty shadows in the lungs are not necessarily lung cancer, but can also be seen in diseases such as tuberculosis and pneumonia. Lung speckled shadow is the description of imaging examination, i.e. speckled shadow can be seen in the lung. 1. Lung cancer: when the lung cancer lesion is small, it can be manifested as speckled shadow, but there are mostly signs of lobulation, burr or pleural pulling. 2. Pneumonia: Imaging examination usually shows increased and disordered lung texture, or enlargement of part of the lung texture, and punctate or patchy shadow in the lung. It is often accompanied by respiratory tract infection symptoms such as cough, sputum and fever. 3. Tuberculosis: It can be manifested as patchy shadow in the lungs, and if it is hematogenous tuberculosis, it can be manifested as corn-like shadow. It is mostly accompanied by systemic toxic symptoms such as low fever and night sweats. It is recommended that patients seek medical treatment as soon as possible to avoid delaying their condition when spotty shadows are found in the lungs.
