Dizziness can usually be recovered after 1-2 weeks. Dizziness occurs due to spasm and narrowing of the cervical vertebral arteries, which leads to insufficient blood supply to the brain, thus causing dizziness symptoms. Cervical braking and vertebral artery dilatation are necessary to relieve and eliminate dizziness. Cervical spine braking can be done by external immobilization with cervical brace and bed rest, avoiding cervical spine flexion, extension and rotation activities to reduce the adverse stimulation to the vertebral artery. Vertebral artery dilatation treatment includes oral flunarizine hydrochloride or intravenous injection of drugs such as ozagrel. Through cervical spine braking and vertebral artery dilatation treatment, the vertebral arteries can gradually restore blood supply in 1-2 weeks, and the symptoms of dizziness can be completely disappeared.
