Cervical spondylolisthesis belongs to the category of paralysis in traditional Chinese medicine, and is often divided into wind-cold-dampness paralysis, qi stagnation and blood stasis, phlegm-dampness stagnation, liver-kidney insufficiency, and qi-blood deficiency. Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome is characterized by tingling and distension, and can be reduced by adding the Active Blood and Tendon Shuffling Tang. In the case of phlegm-dampness and stasis syndrome, which is characterized by a heavy head and dizziness, add or subtract Half-summer, Atractylodes Macrocephalae and Tianma Tang. Liver and kidney insufficiency syndrome can be accompanied by lumbar and knee weakness, blurred eyes, tinnitus and deafness, etc., which can be treated with Duhuo Shengsheng Tang with additions and subtractions. For deficiency of qi and blood, which is accompanied by fatigue (mental exhaustion and physical weakness) and pale or yellowish color, add or subtract Astragalus and Gui Zhi Wu Wu Wu Tang.
