Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) can treat adductor nerve palsy, but the effect is slow. Currently, TCM treatment for adductor nerve palsy mainly relies on acupuncture, which promotes the recovery of adductor nerve function through stimulation of specific acupoints. However, TCM treatment requires regular, long-term treatment and is slow to take effect. Abducens nerve palsy is caused by limitation of movement or paralysis of one or more extraocular muscles, and is commonly seen in patients with high blood pressure, craniocerebral trauma and diabetes mellitus. Patients can be treated with Botulinum Toxin A injections to relieve eye discomfort. Patients with abducens nerve palsy are advised to seek prompt medical attention to evaluate their condition and treat it under a doctor’s supervision.
