The worst result of atrophic gastritis plus erosion biopsy is that the gastric mucosa in the erosion or atrophic area has enterosis or heterotrophic hyperplasia. 1. Enterocytosis: long-term chronic inflammation makes the gastric mucosal surface epithelium and glands replaced by cup cells and pyloric gland cells, and the formation of intestinal epithelial hyperplasia and pseudo-pyloric glandular hyperplasia. The worst result here refers to intestinal epithelial hyperplasia, the wider its distribution, the higher the risk of gastric cancer. 2. Heterotrophic hyperplasia: it is the overgrowth of cells in the process of regeneration and lack of differentiation, and the structure of glands is disturbed. Heteroplasia is a precancerous lesion of gastric cancer, which can be reversed to normal in mild cases, but it is not easy to distinguish between severe and highly differentiated cancer, so it should be closely observed. Gastroscopy and histologic examination is the key to the diagnosis of chronic gastritis, but the severity of the symptoms is not proportional to what is seen in gastroscopy and pathology and histology, and should be reviewed regularly. If there is any disease of the digestive system, timely medical treatment and standardized treatment are needed.
