The patient, a middle-aged female, was found to have a huge mass in the upper pole of the right kidney with a diameter of 8.5 cm on physical examination. From the CT, the boundary between the tumor and normal kidney tissue was very clear, and it was felt that it was technically possible to preserve the kidney, so it was decided to perform laparoscopic partial nephrectomy. The tumor was located in the upper pole of the right kidney and was huge in size. The tumor was located in the upper pole of the right kidney and was huge in size. As seen intraoperatively, the view was that of a huge kidney cancer. After complete resection of the tumor, the collecting system of the renal pelvis was sutured. After suturing the renal cortex was completed and the renal artery block was released, hemostasis was good. For well-defined renal tumors, even if they are huge in size (more than 7 cm), laparoscopic partial nephrectomy should be performed first if technically achievable surgically.
