What should I look for at the initial consultation?

Due to my center’s work schedule, I do not receive initial patients for two days on weekends. In addition, I am in charge of egg retrieval and transplantation procedures in my department, so I usually have little time to see patients in the morning. If you want to see me for your initial consultation, it is better to choose Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 1:30 pm. There is no limit to the number of patients in our center, and we do not have any brick and mortar clinics, so you do not have to worry about registration. After you register for the infertility clinic, you can tell the nurse at the nurse’s desk on the 7th floor that you are seeing Dr. Tian. Your first visit is usually between the third and fifth day of your menstrual cycle, which helps to assess ovarian function. On the day of the initial consultation, you will be asked about your medical history, your past treatment (so it is a good idea to bring all your past treatment documents, especially any special test reports, such as x-rays from a tubal imaging, discharge notes from a previous laparoscopy, etc.), and a vaginal ultrasound (vaginal ultrasound is perfectly fine during your period, so don’t worry about it). If you have any questions before the consultation, you can also request a one-on-one consultation with me through the telephone consultation service, and I can give you specific guidance through telephone communication
