What are the requirements for newborns’ sunbathing positions?

Sunbathing positions for newborns can be prone and supine positions. Sunbathing exposes all limbs and torso, front and back. Newborns can be sunbathed in the supine position first, stretching out the baby’s limbs and torso. Once the supine position is finished, switch to the prone position. Allow the back of the baby’s back and the backs of the limbs to get the sun. When in the prone position, be careful to tilt the fetus’s head to one side to keep breathing open and prevent suffocation. Newborns should pay attention to the following issues when sunbathing: do not sunbathe through the glass; be careful not to be too high or too low temperature; avoid sunbathing in the time period when the sunlight is too strong, the baby’s skin is delicate and easy to get sunburned; sunbathing time should not be too long, each time for about 15~20 minutes, 1~2 times a day. Parents should pay attention to the baby’s condition when sunbathing, and stop in time if there is any abnormality.
