A pimple in the eye can be considered as pterygium, blepharospasm, conjunctival tumors (such as conjunctival papilloma, conjunctival dermatoma, conjunctival squamous cell carcinoma) and so on.
1. Pterygium: Chronic inflammation of the fibrovascular tissue of the local bulbar conjunctiva can occur after the eye is exposed to external stimuli. Pterygium located in the bulbar conjunctiva may extend into the surface of cornea, which resembles the wings of insects, and may cause dry eyes, foreign body sensation, eye movement disorder or impaired vision.
2. Blepharospasm: mostly caused by external stimuli such as ultraviolet rays, wind and sand, etc. It can be left untreated when there is no obvious symptom.
3. Conjunctival tumor: conjunctival papilloma can occur in the corneal margin or eyelid margin and other parts, the tumor body is fleshy and bright red; conjunctival dermatoma is a round, yellow elevated swelling with smooth surface; conjunctival squamous cell carcinoma can occur in the eyelid fissure area at the corneal margin and other places, and the swelling is a clear boundary of the nodule jelly-like.
When you find flesh bumps in the eyes, accompanied by uncomfortable symptoms, it is recommended to consult a doctor as soon as possible for examination, to clarify the cause of the disease, and targeted treatment.
