The cloud pattern photographic technique produces a contour pattern representing the shape of the object surface by overlapping two gratings that interfere with each other. This technique can be used to measure the asymmetry of the back surface caused by spinal deformation and to quantify the degree of scoliosis. While it has been used for the screening of scoliosis in adolescents, cloudy spine photography has been developed, especially for the quantitative examination of scoliosis, evaluation of the efficacy of spinal surgery, and follow-up, etc. The present study explores the changes in body shape of patients with lumbar disc herniation. The movement of the spine depends on the tension of the spine and its surrounding soft tissues, including muscles and ligaments and the anti-pressure of the vertebral discs, and the spine is supported by the pelvis and lower extremities, which constitutes the spine-pelvis-hip conjugate system, which is a whole composed of the rotational complex motion of the spine and pelvis, and when the corresponding balance of this system occurs due to injury or compensation of the body, it causes changes in the biomechanics of the spine and the mechanics of the lower extremities. changes, which may present with fasciitis, arthralgia and neurological symptoms in the early stages and osteoarthritis and intractable muscle pain in the later stages. Some of these problems need to be further understood by modern medicine. Previously, the rotation of the pelvis was examined only by the sit-to-stand forward bending test, which is often greatly influenced by the experience and subjective factors of the physician, Karachalios et al. used the Adams forward bending test, the cloud pattern method, the spine ruler humpometer (humpometer) scoliometer (scoliometer) on In a comparative survey of 2700 students aged 8-16 years with a 10-year follow-up, 153 (5.66%) had spinal deformities and 32 (1.18%) had scoliosis (spinal curvature >10°), with the highest false-negative rate of 5 for the Adams anterior flexion test, the highest accuracy rate for the humpometer method, and the second highest for the humpometer and scoliometer. The high false-negative rate of the Adams anterior flexion test has led to the belief that a combination of back profile measurements is necessary for reliable screening for early diagnosis of scoliosis. On the other hand, cloud pattern mapping can quantify the degree of left-right asymmetry of the back surface and the degree of lumbar and thoracic rotation caused by spinal torsion. Because a large torsion may cause only a small lateral scoliosis, the Cobb angle measured by conventional radiography is always two-dimensional and cannot quantify spinal deformation, so the Cobb angle is small. Cloudburst diagrams can quantify this torsion, better measure the deformation of the patient’s spine, and monitor changes in each curve of the spine. Although physical examination has obvious advantages in judging the development of the disease, in the past, it only remained in the rough naked eye observation of the back, which was affected by the light, the experience of the examiner, the angle of observation and the degree of care, just like the traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis methods such as pulse diagnosis and tongue diagnosis, the promotion and application of this evaluation system was greatly limited because it could not be expressed objectively as specific indicators, and the further exploration of its Scientific research is also difficult to go deeper, while the raster projected on the body surface deforms with the different shapes of the body surface, which can be used to measure the asymmetry of the back surface caused by spinal deformation, and then analyze the scoliosis and rotation angle of the spine, providing a scientific method for the study of objectification of body shape diagnosis, while the changes in body shape can also be objectified and refined by the analysis of the back cloud pattern to assist in judgment. Batouche et al. reflected the changes of back shape through the marker points and contour lines of the dorsal cloud pattern diagram. The lowest point is the deepest point of the lumbar curve as the lumbar concave point, and its displacement can illustrate the changes of the lumbar curve, the line connecting the valley points of the lumbar contour line is the lumbar concave line, the highest point of the back is the dorsal apex, the line connecting the two highest points of the back is the dorsal apex line (generally at the scapula), and the line connecting the valley points of the cloud pattern formed through the spinal groove depression is the spinal line, which is consistent with the The spinal alignment is consistent, while the asymmetry of the cloud pattern on both sides of the back, the unequal scapular points, the deformation of the diamond-shaped fossa cloud pattern, and the asymmetry of the lumbar contour line can all indicate the torsion of the spine, pelvis and thorax. This study applied these indicators to the objectification of the body shape, refining it into the cloud pattern typing, overcoming the influence of the observer’s subjectivity, and achieving more consistent results with the clinic, and this study concluded that the positive rate of cloud pattern examination and X-ray scoliosis This study concluded that the positive rate of cloud pattern examination was consistent with the detection rate of X-ray scoliosis; before and after treatment, cloud pattern examination was compared with cloud pattern examination, indicating that cloud pattern can reflect the changes of back body shape in a more sensitive way, which is an auxiliary method to judge the development stage and changes of the disease, and is also one of the good indicators to objectively measure the efficacy of treatment. Feng Wei et al. used a projection cloud pattern diagnostic instrument to evaluate scoliosis and rotation in patients with lumbar degenerative spondylitis before and after manipulative treatment, and concluded that the lumbar cloud patterns of patients before treatment were all asymmetrical, and after treatment the lumbar cloud patterns returned to symmetrical or approximately symmetrical patterns, and the rotational scoliosis of the lumbar spine disappeared or basically disappeared in patients with lumbar disc herniation, and the paravertebral muscles were symmetrical. In patients with paravertebral muscle stress point injury, the lumbar paravertebral muscle mass-like spasm became softer and smaller, and the lower back curve was restored or basically restored. These explorations also provide useful references in the objective evaluation of degenerative spinal diseases by cloud pattern diagrams. In summary, this study corroborated the validity of cloudburst diagrams in diagnosing scoliosis from different aspects through clinical physical examination, lumbar frontal and lateral spine position, back cloudburst diagram photography and comparison before and after treatment, so the proper use of cloudburst diagram technology has important significance in dynamic judgment of disease progression and standardization of telescopic diagnosis, but at present, cloudburst diagrams are only comparisons of the left and right relative graphics of the back and have not yet reached the height value of each point. Quantification and computer reconstruction of cloud pattern topography is the direction of our future research and development, which needs further study.
