What to do if you accidentally ingest dry ice

Misuse of dry ice should be based on the amount of misuse and the degree of damage to take different treatment programs, such as drinking more water, warm water bag hot compresses, medication and so on.
1. Drink more water: If the amount of dry ice is very small, and there are no adverse symptoms in the mouth and abdomen after the accidental ingestion, then drinking more water to accelerate excretion will be fine.
2. Warm water compress: If the amount of dry ice eaten by the patient is large and the mouth is frostbitten, then the patient needs to hold warm water in the mouth for a period of time.
3. Medication: If too much dry ice is eaten by mistake, it may lead to gastric mucous membrane damage, and some medicines to protect gastric mucous membrane such as bismuth potassium citrate can be taken.
It is recommended that if you accidentally eat dry ice, you should rush to the hospital for treatment.
