Difference between body shaking and twitching

The difference between body shaking and twitching is mainly different symptoms, as follows.
1. Shaking: is the movement caused by uncoordinated muscle contraction, body shaking will be manifested in the local muscle tremor, generally smaller amplitude, mostly seen in primary tremor, often manifested in the distal upper extremity postural or action tremor, accompanied by the head, mouth and face, or voice tremor, the lower limbs are less involved. The lower limbs are less often involved. There is no obvious discomfort when the body shakes.
2. Twitching: Twitching refers to involuntary twitching or strong contraction of the whole body or localized groups of skeletal muscles, and the amplitude is usually large. It may be associated with a variety of factors such as brain diseases and systemic diseases.
For example, myoclonic seizures present as a sudden, brief, rapid contraction of a muscle or group of muscles. In severe cases, there may also be symptoms such as bruising, cyanosis (purple and black color in the mouth and lip area), and impaired consciousness.
If your body shakes and jerks frequently, you need to see a doctor who can identify the cause and give you the right treatment.
