The Laogong point is part of the Hand Conjunctive Yin Pericardium meridian and is the Xinxing point on the Pericardium meridian. The point is located on the palm of the hand and is taken by flexing the fingers and clenching the fist, with the tip of the middle finger facing the point. It is often used clinically to treat stroke, coma, heat stroke, fainting, epilepsy, madness, mouth sores, bad breath, sweaty or sweatless palms, and for first aid, either by pinching or acupuncture.
