The root of lemongrass is a traditional Chinese medicine, for the grass family lemongrass plant lemongrass rhizome, its taste is sweet, cold, belonging to the lung, stomach, bladder meridian. It has the effects of cooling blood to stop bleeding, clearing heat and diuretic, and clearing heat from lung and stomach. This product can be used in the treatment of hemorrhagic syndromes such as epistaxis (nosebleed), hemoptysis, hematochezia, hemorrhagic gonorrhea (the appearance of blood in urine accompanied by a painful sensation), gonorrhea with heat toxin (increased frequency of urination, dribbling and astringent pain), edema, jaundice due to dampness-heat, gastric-heat and vomiting, and coughing and wheezing due to lung-heat. The adverse reactions of this product are not clear at present.
