Adenoid tonsillectomy is performed under general anesthesia. You can eat a liquid diet 6 hours after surgery, and a semi-liquid diet the next day, and a normal diet 2 weeks after surgery.
Regular review: generally 2 weeks after surgery. If the tympanic membrane is placed at the same time due to secretory otitis media, follow up once every 3 months after surgery.
Children with combined rhinitis and sinusitis, or allergic rhinitis should be treated for rhinitis and sinusitis at the same time.
Obese children should have their weight controlled.
