Prostate calcification, what to do with it?

The clinic often has some patient friends who have had their prostate ultrasound and found that they have prostate calcification. When consulting with a doctor, some say no treatment, some say to treat, and patients often lose their claim due to different opinions. This is where I present some of my views to provide you with reference. First of all, let’s look at the etiology of prostate calcification. Calcification can promote infection, and infection can contribute to the formation of calcified plaques. The actual fact is that you can find a lot of people who are not able to get a good deal on a lot of things. The actual calcification of the prostate gland is more common clinically, but mostly occurs in middle aged people. The most common method of diagnosing prostate calcification is the prostate B-ultrasound and anorectal examination, which is a routine screening test. The most common way to diagnose calcification in the prostate is through anorectal examination, which can reveal the feeling of stone and stone rubbing in the prostate. The most reliable way to diagnose prostate calcification is with B-ultrasound and CT. The CT scan with enhancement is not only accurate for the diagnosis of prostate calcification, but is also valuable for identifying other prostate diseases, especially prostate cancer. In terms of treatment, we take different treatment measures according to different situations. 1. For those who are asymptomatic and have no prostate lesions, special treatment is not necessary and regular follow-ups are required. 2, with chronic infection or prostate enlargement, obstruction is not serious, can be treated according to the treatment of chronic prostatitis and prostate enlargement. 3, with persistent infection or recurrent acute infection and severe obstruction, after controlling the infection, perform prostate removal, or transurethral electrodesection of the prostate. 4. If prostate stones are combined with prostate cancer, they should be treated according to the treatment of prostate cancer.
